Lovely vase. This very attractive Hornsea vase is fully base stamped with the Hornsea mark,Studio Craft and has an impressed 351.The studio craft range was designed by John Clappison and was produced between 1960-1962 with up to date, modern designs that look just as good today. This vase is a beautiful example, measuring 11" high x 2.1/4" diameter it has a tall, elegant torpedo style shape that is narrower at the top and bottom with gently curved sides.Glazed all over white it has an impressed design of vertical lines that have measured  dots down the length and are offset to the ones next to them. The underside of the base has got a small and long chip and this shows very slightly when on display(see photo three) however the dot design makes it look as if it is meant to be there and certainly it does not detract from the look there is some glaze crackle due to age otherwise it is sold in perfect condition.I have tried to find the name of the design but I can't find another like it in the plain white all others seem to have a black stripe on the verticals. With its sleek, curvaceous shape and simple pattern and glaze it displays beautifully and would make a lovely addition to any collection. Please check out my other items!and be sure to add me to your favourites list!        PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU KEEP YOUR FEEDBACK HIDDEN. OVERSEAS POSTAGE COSTS ARE FOR AMERICA/AUSTRALIA AND ARE APPROXIMATE BRITISH POSTAGE IS NOT DONE BY WEIGHT ALONE AND IF A PARCEL MEASURES MORE THAN 90cm WIDTH X HEIGHT X DEPTH WITH NO ONE SIDE MEASURING MORE THAN 60cm IT HAS TO GO INTERNATIONAL PARCEL AND THIS IS VERY COSTLY,THERE IS NO FACILITY WITHIN THE EBAY POSTAGE FORM TO REFLECT THIS.IF YOU WANT AN ACCURATE COST PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF HOWEVER YOU ARE OVERCHARGED I WILL REFUND. SORRY I AM UNABLE TO END AUCTIONS EARLY AS OTHER INTERESTED WATCHERS HAVE ALWAYS TO BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION AND I WOULD BE CROSS IF IT WERE DONE TO ME WHEN I WAS WATCHING SOMETHING.
