Farmhouse Improver; Is a multipurpose improver, it can be used in any bread or roll dough and is ideal for bread making machines. Simply add one teaspoon for white and two for wholemeal, the only other things to add are salt, flour,water and yeast, no messing about with sugar,fat, milk powder etc as its all built into the improver.

what's a bread improver? its a mix of the essential ingredients your dough needs to develop properly in the short time a bread making machine takes to make the dough, without them you usually end up with bread that's heavy and has a stale texture. You can easily use them for hand or Kenwood style kneading aswell. See How does Bread Improver Work for more info.

There are different types and qualities of improver, some contain preservatives and others may not have all the correct ingredients for homemade bread. Mine are guaranteed to be GM free and have the exact ingredients for a perfect home made loaf.

It can be used for any bread recipe whether machine made or hand made.

Every package will include a full recipe, which is very simple and is suitable for any size loaf. You can just as easily add it to your own favourite recipe.
