500 Wii POINTS or Wii Virtual Console game for FREE ! !

If you have only recently accessed the Wii shopping channel for the first time (within the last 30 days) or never been on the shopping channel at all on your Wii you are eligible to receive 500 Wii Points FREE!

These Wii points allow you to buy a variety of games on the Wii Shopping Channel. To receive your free Wii Points Follow the simple steps below (skip to step 2 if you know how to set up an internet connection on the Wii).

1. First you have to create an internet connection - if you have wireless internet then all you need to do is go to: 'Wii Options' button on the main menu screen (bottom left). Then 'Wii settings' - you will then see a number of settings like screen and sound but no internet option... the internet is on the next page so click the arrow on the right hand side of the screen.
Now go 'Connection Settings'. Choose one of the three connection buttons. Choose 'Wireless Connection'. Make sure your router is on and search for an access point. Then simply choose your internet router and enter any code or password you may have to access this connection. Once setup the Wii should test the connection and do a Wii system update. If it doesn’t, simply go back to the 'Wii Settings' screen and go to the third page using the arrow and click the button 'Wii System Update'. Now you are all set!

2. Once you are online you can now access the 'Wii Shopping Channel', which is on the main menu screen, in the top right corner unless it has been moved. Click it as you would starting a game and press start on the next screen. Once the shopping channel has loaded you will see a welcome screen and in the bottom left corner a button that says 'Connections Ambassador Promotion'. Click the 'Connection Ambassador' button. Another screen will load with two buttons - you need to click the YELLOW button that says 'Person Who Was Helped'. You will be asked to fill in the Wii Console Number of the person that help you access the Wii Shopping Channel Enter the following number:

3. Now the final step to claiming your free 500 Wii Points is to register your console so that you can receive them. To do this you must locate your Wii Console Number. Simply click on the message (envelope) icon which is in the bottom left corner of the main menu screen. Then click the 'Create Message' button on the left side of the screen. Then Click the envelope in the middle of the screen and a box should pop up saying 'Address Book' with two smile faces and below This console’s 'Wii Number'. Note down your Wii Number and send it in an email to freewiipoints@pistolero.demon.co.uk.

4. Wait for a very short amount of time and HEY PRESTO! 500 Wii points will be added to your account!
