Specially blended for Winter Close down

An organo-copper complex for the control of algae during the autumn/winter months, can also be used as a regular treatment. Will give long term effective treatment.

Treatment
The prevention of algae growth will reduce the amount of sanitiser required. Winter Guard is an effective longlife algaecide for prevention and control of the growth of algae.

Application
At the end of the season adjust the pH of pool water to pH 7.2 – pH 7.6 shockdose the pool to 6 - 8 mg/litre chlorine. Clean all pool surfaces, especially where pool water circulation is low. Vacuum the pool. Add Winter Guard 5 litres per 50m³ evenly around the pool. Circulate pool water.
