The Flower Bag

AS Easy as 1-2-3

1  Use 9 litres of moist soilless potting compost.  Moisturing gel & fertiliser are useful additions.  Fill to the lowest set of slits, filling corners well.

2  Insert well rooted plants/seedplugs through the first slits.  Add compost up to the next pair of slits pushing down so that the first plants are firmly in place.

3  Continue on similarly filling until all slits are filled.  Leave 1 inch at the top to facilitate watering.  Put a plant or two in the top of the bag. 

Recommended plants: Impatiens, Begonias, Ivy Geraniums, Trailing Verbena, Trailing Lobelia, Trailing Petunias. Strawberries and Trailing Tomato.
