This hand carved Peruvian Parrot has an inset at the crown of it's head of Andean Pink Opal and a beak of Black Onyx. The long tail feathers are carved out of Andean Red Jasper with an inset of Sodalite on top. Stands on an Aragonite "tree trunk".
This artistic stone carving is a result of several Peruvian families working together to help bring in income ~ excellent detail for the price. You do receive the parrot in the photo. Parrot measures 5 1/2" (13.9 cm) long. Weight is 286 grams (10 ounces).
