improve his overall game. Created for those with lower handicaps and
faster swings, the Titleist Pro V1x is best as a distance ball. It has
a softer feel than the Pro V1, but it also achieves greater distance
off of driver shots.
Four piece design contributes to the performance of this ball. A dual core maximizes distance while controlling spin from long shots. The inner, softer core is a lower density polybutadiene than the outer core. A firmer outer core helps to keep the ball on a straight path. Extra spin from irons is given by the mantle layer made of ionomer. These balls provide more short game spin than the Titleist Pro V1. A softer urethane elastomer cover is coated with 332 dimples which lower drag through the air and increase the amount of lift these balls experience. The result is a long flying ball with good consistency in stability in the air. On the green, a special Alignment Integrated Marking (A.I.M.) helps to improve control when putting. Golfers with fast swings will want to add the Titleist Pro V1x to better their distance game and short game control with a soft feel and consistent playability.
