This style of tree tie is the most widely used type due to its simplicity, ease of use and reliability. Designed for strength in unbreakable polycarbonate to withstand the stress of high winds. The collar fits between the stake and the tree to alleviate rubbing and allow some stretch and movement, enabling the tree to develop its own resistance to wind as it grows. It is recommended to review and adjust if necessary the fit every other year to allow the tree adequate growth room whilst maintaining the support required.
