4 birth tourer caravan, with paid up use of site 2010

1994 4 birth caravan, no need to take home now, site fees paid till januaray 8th 2010 and usable.

especially ideal for anybody wanting a tourer who is not quite able or ready to put the caravan anywhere, or someone who wants the use of a site for now, christmas, new year, 2 months break, 2 months living, etc.

the caravan is lovely inside, very good layout. sleeps a double bed, which is quite big and probably more a king size. dining area turns into bunk beds for a further 2 to sleep.

there is a bathroom to the rear, toilet is kind of partitioned from the basin area a little, unlike most. the shower is part of the toilet wet room area. floor to the bathroom is tiled.

I WILL WRITE MORE ABOUT THE CARAVAN, BUT THESE THINGS ON EBAY ALWAYS CRASH FOR ME WHEN I WRITE THEM, SO I WILL LIST IT NOW AND UPDATE WORDINGS LATER.

the caravan has just had a brand new leisure battery fitted last week

caravan has;-

gas heater

gas cooker and hob

water heater

pumped water,  roll-a-long water tank included

waste water tank - roller type

thetford toilet system

shower,  bathroom basin /  kitchen sink,  hot and cold taps

all working and good to go for use.

the van is in good condition, the inside could do with a nice spring clean to be tip top and for the new owner to put their stamp on it, which is what you would probably do anyway, as i did when i got it even though it was spotless. it's still been in use till now so i will be going this week to clear any belongings out and give it a nice clean anyway.

the exterior is good, again a nice wash would do it good, which i'll do if i have the time. there's the odd mark here and there as you would expect from a 1994 caravan, but nothing severve anywhere.

there is also an awning with the caravan that is in good condition and not been used much. it has been up most of the summer so has odd niggles recieved from when its been windy, just to the framing, one pole is a bit bent but will bend back, a couple of poles the socket points have snapped at the point of the welds, so could just be rewelded. or better still only 3 or 4 poles are effected in any way and these things are pretty standard items with most awnings so might be easier and inexpensive to just replace them.  The awning spans the whole length of the van, so is a large one, and has 2 bedroom annex attachments that can be put on both ends of the awning.  one of the tent ground sheet/inner liners is in a lesser condition than the other, needs some sewing in one corner and a good clean, the other hasn't been used by the look of it. the awning has curtains all round too. the awning was taken down and its been raining any chance i've had to give it a wipe down, so the side panels could do with a clean from the general mud that gets flicked up around the bottoms.

no real faults to mention, there is a bit of wear on the paintwork where the middle awning strutt has been rubbing against it, the paint has worn off about the area equivelent to the size of a credit card.  a couple of hook slots need replacing on the outside, one for the door to keep it wide open, and one is the slot for the middle awning strutt. there is a replacement on for the door, and other is just a plastic thing, they sell them in the caravan site shops for a quid or 2. other than that i cant think of anything wrong with anything on it.

just went down to caravan yesterday to clear my stuff out. i've given it a nice clean also. The only thing you might want to do is give the carpet a nice fresh clean from when mud has been walked in on wet days, probably just a stiff brush over will do.

i didn't say on the main write up, there is also a permit with the caravan for use of the fishing on the site, there are a few lakes on the site you can fish on and part of the season holding is a permit to do so.
