For auction here is a new 4 Watt PLL FM transmitter.

This unit is based on the famous Veronica design with some modern component improvements and design updates, it is basic, reliable and fulfils what you want for dependable use.

The sound quality is exceptional featuring a quality TOKO dual varicap diode you'll sound the same as the big stations and the frequency stability being PLL is perfect, what’s more NO test equipment is required to set up! This transmitter could be used for days on end without failure. This unit is perfectly capable of being driven with stereo coders and RDS encoders also. All the components are quality branded OEM from manufacturers: SGS Thomson, Philips, Fairchild, Texas Instruments, Motorola, Mitsubishi and more, no cheap Chinese fakes in this transmitter. The whole unit is constructed on quality 1 oz British made FR4 Fibre glass PCB and the development to soldering the components is completed in house.

Testing 98.00MHz @15V D.C. produces over 4 Watts output and from 87.5 ~ 108MHz will produce at least 4 Watts still. This is the transmitter that keeps on going when the others fail. Transmission range is about 3-4 miles with a correctly sited no gain antenna on an average receiver (please read disclaimer at the bottom of the page.)

One unique feature for this transmitter compared to many is the availability of parts. All parts are off the shelf, no secretly programmed micro controllers etc and in the extremely unlikely event a replacement component is required you will be able to obtain spares virtually anywhere in the world!

It is supplied with flying leads for connections to antenna, D.C. power and audio, these are a nominal 300mm in length each.

Remember this is not a kit but a fully assembled unit. 1st Class Special delivery UK postage is charged at cost. International orders charged at cost aswell.

Instructions will be provided on paper with the unit for easy tuning to another frequency.
