A set of 4 chintz pattern Bon bon/sweet/nut/fruit/dessert dishes by Royal Winton, Grimwades. They are an oval shape with geometric 'Deco' shape handles and have gilded edges. MADE CIRCA 1930'S. Back stamp in Green reads: ROYAL WINTON GRIMWADES Made in England STAMPED IN BLUE THE PATTERN NAME: 'Marguerite' Condition: All 4 in perfect condition. (No chips, cracks or restoration.) N.B. On the base of one the 'rim' that stands on a flat surface has a rough edge as if the glaze did not quite cover it in the kiln (see the photo showing the backs of all four dishes) - just mentioned for accuracy. Approx size: longest length handle to handle 6 inches x width at widest point 4.5 inches x height 1.25 inches. Very collectable set of Royal Winton Chintz items. Check out my other items! |
