4"Heavy Duty Rotary Head Milling Vice

This is a new heavy duty milling vice featurng a rotary head allowing 4 different jaw configurations plus angle compensation for irregular shaped work pieces.

 It is very well made from close grain cast iron - very heavy duty construction with lower tension plates to ensure ther is no slop or free play.

 The hardened steel rotating jaw block has a plain face, horizontal V, 3 x different sized vertical Vs and a single large V. It can be locked at any angle and also has an indexing lock bolt to ensure correct alignment with the sliding jaw.

Swivel base features a large clear 360 degree scale for rotary indexing. The swivel base can be removed and the vice used without it.

Handle shaft features a spring loaded ball bearing to prevent it falling off every time it is rotated - useful addition not commonly found on milling vices.

jaws have v-grooves to aid centering round objects and strong clamping force is ensured by the large diameter acme thread spindle. Although designed for heavy duty drilling this vice is strong enough for light milling . Mounting slots are spaced at 6" and tightening handle is removable.

Precision ground jaws and sliding surfaces.

Overall finish is excellent, castings are smooth with a fine paint finish.

Jaws are 100mm wide x 35mm deep. Max opening is 100mm. Overall height is 115mm
