Magic lantern slides showing Eddystone lighthouse just off the Devon/Cornish coast.   The 1st slide is a very nicely hand painted example, while the other 2 are photographs of illustrations.  The 3rd slide shows Winstanleys Lighthouse, which was the 17th century pre-cursor to Eddystones example.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PICTURES ARE SLIGHTLY CROPPED TO CONCENTRATE ON THE CENTRAL IMAGE. ALSO NOTE THAT MY PHOTOS ARE NOT THE HIGHEST RESOLUTION, THE SLIDES ARE MUCH SHARPER AND DETAILED TO THE EYE.


SIZE - 3 1/4 inch by 3 1/4 inch (83mm by 83mm)

CONDITION - All my slides are in fine condition unless other wise mentioned in the description. They may have a little general wear to the paper edges (drying out), but any breaks, cracks, cloudiness or other damage will br mentioned.
