There are some stunning classic Victorian style photos from July 1897 thru the early 1920s.

The subject is an adorable girl Milvia Lola Warner who grew up to be an accomplished artist showing in the bay area Carmel and a noted archeologist studying Mayan ruins.

Born in Oakland, CA on March 24, 1897. Milvia Warner studied at the CSFA. She married Seibert Boak and remained a resident of San Francisco for the rest of her life. While vacationing in Mexico, she died on March 13, 1969. She specialized in Mayan archaeology and culture. Exh: SF Women Artists; GGIE, 1939; NY World's Fair, 1939; SFAA, 1941; Foundation of Western Art, 1941.
Source:   Edan Hughes, "Artists in California, 1786-1940"
Interview with the artist or his/her family; Artists of the American West (Doris Dawdy); Who's Who in American Art 1940; SF Chronicle, 3-26-1969 (obituary).

There are no photos available on her in California Museums or online. Here are 36, and some are eternal, classic Victorian shots. Many Cabinet cards many soft paper opening and some with 3-4 shots in sets.  We also have about 18 of her sister Florence that is seperate.
