Unusual and very attractive heavy onyx and silver pendant together with an onyx and silver bracelet which is adjustable between 7inches and 8 inches

Diamond Colour Scale

NOTE:  Blue diamonds have been irradiated to achieve their colour.

Colour-enhanced diamonds have undergone treatment to alter or heighten colour. A number of procedures can change a diamond's natural colour, including irradiation using high-energy particles. Depending on resulting colour, “after” coloured diamonds can be more expensive than their untreated counterparts. The safe irradiation process does not affect any aspect of the diamond other than colour, and the treatment is permanent.   

It is a little known fact that ALL tanzanite stones are heat-treated, their natural colour being  reddish-brown

Diamond Clarity

Very Slightly Included (VS₁ and VS₂): VS diamonds contain minor inclusions ranging from difficult (VS₁) to slightly easier (VS₂) to see under 10x magnification.

Slightly Included (SI₁ and SI₂): SI stones contain noticeable inclusions which are easy (SI₁) or very easy (SI₂) to see under 10x magnification. These inclusions cannot be seen without magnification.

Imperfect (I₁, I₂, and I₃): I-grade diamonds contain inclusions which are obvious under 10x magnification, and can usually be seen with the unaided eye.
