Because of the dual 2 ohm voice coil, the TL-1121 can be wired in parallel to
give 1 ohm load or in series to give 4 ohm load.

and quality, the 3,000w (1,000w RMS) TL-1023 Class D Digital Subwoofer
Bass amplifier is recommended.
It provides exactly the right amount of power to drive the sub

Other amplifiers such as mosfet full range amplifiers are simply
not up to the job of powering this subwoofer.
To
get the most from the subwoofer, both in terms of power output
and quality, it is important that it is mounted in a suitable
enclosure. Standard 12" sub box enclosures simply will not
do; the sub is so large that that it will not physically fit in,
and the volume of the boxes are too small so the sub can not perform.
This black vinyl TL-1120 enclosure has been taylor made to the
subwoofer's specifications, and can be changed from a sealed design
(for every day, high fidelity listening) to a ported design (for
extreme listening and SPL competitions) by simply changing over
a plate on the front of the box. This is a revolutionary design.
