These are 3 absolutley fabulous German candy boxes from the 1930s. They have wonderfully cute expressions and their heads are on springs. Presumably the hats are designed to hang from a holiday tree.Their superb condition reflects the fact that they have been wrapped up in a trunk in an attic since the 1950s.The number '6 1/2 ' is written in pencil them so I guess they cost 6 pence halfpenny in old British currency. The undersides of the heads are covered in paper with cute Easter designs. These really shouldnt be missed!

Size 5.5" tall
