These are plants of Carex buchananii (Hardy Perennial Grass).  They are sold ex 9cm pots and ready to plant out into their final positions.

Provides winter colour to beds, borders, tubs and containers.  This is a tufted evergreen perennial with arching orange-brown leaves, curled at their tips.  From midsummer onwards spikes of brown flowers are displayed on long stems.  Will grow to a height of 20" with a spread of 36".  These plants will thrive in most well-drained soils if sited in sun or partial shade.  Water well before planting and keep moist until established.  Remove any dead leaves in Summer.
