A nice original Victorian full sized Queens South Africa Medal (3rd type reverse) with 3 clasps:

Officially named in impressed capitals to:

Sergeant Johnson served during the Boer War with the Western Province Mounted Rifles (Cape Colony Irregular Corps). 

 This Corps was raised in Cape Colony and had a strength of over 500 it did an immense amount of arduous work in the extreme south-west of the Colony often far from support and in a district much favoured by the enemy, and one almost impossible  for regular troops.  The Corps had endless little engagements, frequently involving sharp casualties.
