The conditions were horrendous at best! Visibility was for the majority little more than 6 inches, with 30lbs of Lead weighting necessary with the strong tidal currents of the river. Add to this the threat of Bullsharks and other nasties and you have an appreciation of the tremendous effort involved in sourcing these very special fossils!
