Assembly
The post is supplied in four pieces: a base, two uprights and a bracket. These simply slot into each other and are tightened using the grub screws supplied. The lamp then sits on the spiggot of the bracket and is held fast by two bolts.
Square base is designed to bolt onto a concrete pad in four places.
Maintenance
As with all cast iron and copper products, the post and lamp weather through exposure to the elements. They are, however, generally easy to restore and maintain.
The post is finished in black matt, but if a glossy or more uniform appearance is required, it can be primed and painted.
The lamp can be polished back at any time, as long as it is not permitted to weather for too long a period.
