This awning has a maximum width of 3.5m with a maximum outward projection of 2.5m

All brackets, fixings and winding handle is included making it quick and easy to install. The awning comes as a complete unit ready to be fitted and used.

There is an easy wind handle for simple and quick extensions and retractions.

The awning frame is made of aluminium and steel with a heavy duty, electrostatically powder coated finish, to ensure longevity.

We use waterproofed 300 gsm polyester (gsm is 'grams per square metre'). To test the waterproofing, we regularly make a bucket out of the material, and fill the bucket with water. Not a drop comes through.

The main body of the awning fabric fully retracts onto the roller, leaving valance exposed (approx. 23cm).

Retractable steel and aluminium arm with steel cables making the awning robust and durable.

DIY Installation
Simple to attach to the wall. Supplied with 2 brackets and expandable fixing bolts.

 

 

Space needed to fit awning:

• Allow 20cm above any door frame and check that when opened the door will not interfere with the awning.

• As a guideline, the awning has a drop of 30 cm (2m projection) to 45cm (2.5m projection) at a slope of 10 degrees below the horizontal.

• The recommended slope is factory pre-set. This can be adjusted with a spanner any time after fitting: from almost horizontal to approx 30 degrees below the horizontal.

We supply full detailed sizing info and fitting instructions - see below. A reasonably competent DIY-er can fit one of our awnings within an hour or two. It's a one-man job to put up the brackets, although you'll usually need help lifting the awning into place.

Primrose Awnings are quick and easy to install and are supplied as one fully assembled unit.

We supply brackets and bolts for fitting the awnings to standard brick and masonry walls. If you'd like an experienced fitter to put up your awning, please contact us and we'll put you in touch with one of our local fitters. We don't stock Dutch awnings, blinds, drop-arm awnings, caravan awnings or bespoke awnings and we don't make them to order.

Guarantee

This awning is guaranteed against faulty parts and workmanship for one year from the date of delivery. Faulty parts will be replaced or exchanged within that period. The guarantee covers domestic use only.

What happens in Winter?
Easily detachable from the wall brackets for winter storage, should you choose, although it's fine to leave it out all winter.

How do I store my awning when I'm not using it?
We sell winter storage bags so you can cover your awning up when you not using it for periods of time. They are 100% waterproof fabric means you can cover up your awning on wet winter days.

How far does the awning open?
Up to 2m out from the wall. The awning can be opened as much or as little as you like with winding handle.
