Neutrik & Van Damme XLR Microphone Cable

High quality Van Damme SPOFC Classic Microphone cable terminated with a Neutrik male 3-pole XLR (NC3MX) and a female 3-pole XLR (NC3FX).

Neutrik connectors have a nickel finish with silver plated contacts. Van Damme Classic Microphone cable is highly flexible and durable. Its conductors feature a mixture of ultra pure silver plated oxygen free copper (UP SPOFC) and ultra pure oxygen free copper (UP OFC). The benefit of UP SPOFC is that silver is approximately 5% less resistive than copper. In particular, this benefits the conductivity of the high frequencies, reducing attenuation. That is, the "sparkle" that is often lost when using cheaper, inferior cables.

The cross-linked polyethylene used in the conductor insulation was chosen over conventional insulation materials for its low dielectric constant, which is essential in minimising the attenuation of high frequencies. The outer jacket is a PVC/neoprene composite that offers flexibility, even at sub-zero temperatures.
