These locations are more expensive to deliver to and we suggest you contact us to obtain delivery prices before commiting to a purchase. Delivery for these locations starts at around £17.50 and goes up according to location and weight.
The delivery company will normally make ONE delivery attempt only - we do our best to email you on the day we ship your item to give you advance notice, delivery should be made the next working day. If you are not normally home please nominate a neighbour to receive your parcel, or specify a work address.
Please make sure you amend your delivery address in Paypal if using paypal to pay for your item. Your goods WILL BE DELIVERED TO THE ADDRESS SUPPLIED BY PAYPAL. We use an automated processing system, which can not process addresses in the comments box. .
If there is nobody available to receive your parcel, it will get returned to the nearest depot, from where you will have to collect it. If you fail to collect your parcel within FOUR WORKING DAYS, it will be returned to us automatically incurring a £15 handling charge. Virtually all couriers now use electronic logging systems to verify delivery attempts have been made, we normally email you on the day your item is despatched and include the tracking number to enable online tracking of your consignment.
YOU MUST CHECK YOUR PACKAGE ON RECEIPT - IF THERE IS ANY SIGN OF DAMAGE POINT THIS OUT TO THE DELIVERY DRIVER AND MARK THIS ON THE DELIVERY NOTE. IF YOU SIGN FOR IT AS HAVING BEEN RECEIVED IN GOOD CONDITION THEN IT WILL BE ASSUMED THAT IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION AND WE WILL BE UNABLE TO MAKE CLAIMS FOR ANY DAMAGE. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME TO CHECK, ASSUME IT HAS BEEN DAMAGED AND WRITE 'DAMAGED' NEXT TO YOUR SIGNATURE AND CROSS OUT 'RECEIVED IN GOOD CONDITION'
We can only assist with claim for goods damaged in transit if the delivery note is marked accordingly, and you notify us by telephone before midday on the following working day. After this time it is assumed any damage to the goods has occurred AFTER safe delivery has been made.

- We only post to the address you have registered with PAYPAL - we use an automated system on our server to process paypal payments and generate delivery labels. - If you make an 'echeque' payment, we wont receive the money from paypal for up to 2 weeks, we dont post anything until an echeque has cleared and we have cleared funds, this is due to echeque payments frequently failing. If you buy several items from us we calculate the postage and packing cost by taking the highest delivery cost first (usually the heaviest/biggest item) and then adding the cost per additional item for all the smaller items. Unless you order a large quantity of heavy/bulky items the maximum delivery charge is normally £12.00. A 12 month return to base warranty applies to all products we sell (with the exception of consumables such as lamps). Items faulty within 7 days will be treated as DOA (dead on arrival) and we will swap faulty goods for new, all delivery costs incurred in putting right a DOA item will be covered by Blue Aran. After 7 days the normal procedure is for goods to be returned to the manufacturer for repair, who in some instances may choose to replace the item rather than repair it, this is at the discretion of the manufacturer. You should obtain a receipt and/or proof of posting when returning items, once we have received the goods back in satisfactory condition we will refund you the cost of the item. Where possible we suggest you wrap the item, and avoid using adhesive tape (particularly brown parcel tape) directly on the packaging of items which are boxed for retail sale, as brown tape can often be impossible to remove, and it if defaces the packaging, it devalues the item and prevents us from reselling the item. The 7 day satisfaction guarantee does not apply to consumable items eg lamps, tape, fog fluid. If you wish to purchase multiple items on ebay we can usually combine the delivery costs and make the combined cost cheaper than the sum of the individual delivery charges. Unfortunately ebay doesnt always calculate this correctly, therefore when you come to checkout, if the delivery charge looks more than you would expect you should click 'Request total from seller'. Ebay will then notify us and we will work out the delivery cost and put it in manually. In general we take the delivery cost for the largest item, and add the 'cost per additional item' for each of the smaller items.
