This item is a fully authentic sixpence (because this is for a 25th anniversary, and sixpences ceased to be made in 1967, we cannot offer sixpences from 25 years ago, but we do sell other anniversary sixpences through our eBay shop e.g. 40th Anniversary will be a 1967 sixpence etc.). The Sixpence comes attached to a professionally designed card and can be personalised by purchasing direct from our eBay shop (click on the left hand side of this listing, on Personal Messages on Sixpences). The card and coin comes attractively packaged in a PVC envelope to protect, is approximately 6 inches x 4 inches in size, and the whole item is usually posted same day as payment (or at worst next day). We guarantee receipt or a replacement will be sent if not delivered by the postman within 1 week (UK). These are beautiful lightweight gifts that are ideal for posting abroad, but will be a memorable keepsake for the recipient. This will raise a smile or touch a heart.

- The term “silver” relates to the colour not the content as the last actual silver sixpence was minted early in the 20th century;
- We cannot supply any year after 1967 as this is when they stopped making the coins;
- This is not a tired handmade card as seen in other auctions – we invented this original card concept and have been trading on eBay for 6+ years – please see our feedback record for confidence.
