25 Kg SYNTAC  EPAFD Epoxy Resin

SYNTAC EPAFD is an excellent general purpose epoxy resin suitable for marine and industrial use. It has low viscosity and contains reactive diluents that are selected to maintain the resins physical properties during and after cure. It has moderate reactivity and has good heat and water resistance. SYNTAC EPAFD epoxy resin is cured with SYNAMIN hardeners and when mixed can be used alone or with a range of fillers and thickeners for bonding, fillet jointing, laminating etc. above and below water. Its low viscosity enables it to be used in winter but it should be post cured in warm conditions to achieve maximum physical properties. SYNTAC EPA resin is clear and depending on the hardener used it will be clear when cured. 

SYNAMIN hardeners with different pot lives that are suitable for use with this resin are available for ambient, low bake (45oC) and heat cure. All SYNAMIN ambient cure hardeners have a mix ratio of two parts of resin to one part hardener, so you will require 12.5 kgs of hardener for this 25kg pack of resin.

 Shipping Policy

Most orders are sent on two day courier service. Packaging and carriage is charged at cost price which is shown in the products postage & packaging section. Unfortunately, in addition to the basic delivery charge we have to include a fuel surcharge, PayPal fees and VAT. Delivery charges advertised are for UK mainland delivery, if you reside offshore or abroad please contact us for a delivery cost prior to placing an order.

Overnight delivery is available at extra cost. A delivery telephone number is essential for this service.

Delivery discounts are applied to multiple purchases. Only the item with the higher delivery cost will be charged. Each additional item will be delivered free within the U.K. and at discounted rates elsewhere. To receive your reduced delivery charges, complete all your purchases before going to Checkout and the system will automatically reduce the delivery fees. Orders over £200.00 are delivered cariage free.

Please examine the contents of your consignment before signing the carrier's receipt and report any damage or discrepancies within 48 hours. A tracking number will be sent to customers when the goods are dispatched.

 Return Policy

RETURNS & REFUNDS.  All purchases qualify for a NO Quibble Return Service.  Please contact us if you are not happy with your order.

EXCHANGES.  If you receive a faulty product, it will be replaced free of charge.  Please contact us with details of the problem and, if necessary, we will arrange its collection.

If an item becomes faulty within 28 days of purchase due to a manufacturing defect, the item will either be replaced or repaired. Please quote your invoice number with any correspondence.

The aim of the company is to develop new improved coatings and resin systems for marine and industrial applications and to manufacture the products to the highest quality. Stringent manufacturing methods and controls have been instigated to ensure only the best quality products are produced. In order to provide the best possible service to its customers the company keeps the majority of its products in stock ready for next day delivery. Delivery of non stock items is normally no more than 4/5 days from receipt of order.

Technical advice is always available together with good application and safety advice, we endeavour to reply to enquiries within 24 hours.
