This is a long case clock movement signed by Brothers John and William Boot and made in Sutton ashfield Nottinghamshire in apprx 1780, it chimes on the hour and half hour and is chain wound. it also displays day of the month.

Includes pendulam, original weight and chain the face measures 11 inches (280mm) x 11 inches(280mm).

I do have a case for this movement however it is not the original and was made by my Great Uncle approx 50-60 years ago so if that is of any interest please let me know.

I beleive that this is quite a rare item as i have not been able to find any other clock signed by the two brothers only John, John senior or their sister Elizabeth.
