The revolutionary HEX Aerodynamics on the cover also are improved, with the hexagons and pentagons optimized to reduce drag, increase lift and maximize distance.
New 3-piece construction that delivers blistering ball speed and surprisingly soft feel.
In creating the HX Hot, Callaway Golf engineers successfully added feel to a distance ball by separating the high resilience core from its fast cover with a soft, thin boundary layer that reacts like rubber -- interacting at impact with the cover to ignite velocity while maintaining feel. The ball flies fast off the face and goes long -- really long.
The cover of the HX Hot Golf Ball also has been improved to reduce spin off the driver for a penetrating trajectory.

GRADING SYSTEM...

If you've bought from us before you will already know the extremely high standards of our grading system. Rather than trying and baffle our customers like some other retailers with complicated grading systems like AAAA, Superb or 'Pearl 1', we at Ace keep our grading system clear and simple.
PEARL GRADE Also known as: Mint AAAA	These balls have both the appearance and feel of a ball that has been hit only once! They are our best quality balls and as such are very hard to tell from new. Some balls may display a logo and/or a small player's ink mark. There are no X-outs, scuffs, cuts, peelers, bubbles, or practice balls in this grade - that's guaranteed!
GRADE 'A' Also known as: Grade 1/Pearl 1 Superb/Very Good AAA	These are excellent condition golf balls that just miss our pearl grade. They may contain minor marks, small scratches/scuffs or some very minor discolouration but on the whole will be in excellent condition. There are no X-Outs or Practice balls in this grade. These balls represent great value for money and are our No.1 seller, you will not be dissapointed with this grade.
GRADE 'B' Also known as: Grade 2 AA	These balls will have failed classification as Grade A due to excessive pen marks, larger scuffs or (in the majority of cases) heavier discolouration/fading. These golf balls are still perfectly playable and ideal for a high handicapper/beginner. There are no splits, out of round, practice or refurbished balls.
PRACTICE GRADE Also known as: Shag	These balls are unbeatable value and are appropriate for range and green practice. All balls marked refurbished/refinished go in this grade, no matter their condition. All balls are heavily worn but there are no split or out of round balls.
