Synopsis

World-class organist John Scott Whitely performs in the churches and abbeys once frequented by Johann Sebastian Bach himself, in this comprehensive series. This is the first volume in what will be the complete organ works of Bach.

Review:

Incredible instruments and incredible performances. This series adds a new dimension to Bach including instruments Bach actually played. Endoscopic and miniature floating cameras offer a unique view of the instruments' inner workings and shots are syncronized with the thematic changes of the music to further illustrate Bach's ideas.

Whiteley's performances are flawless (as usual) and this is a must have for any Bach musician or Bach fan.

Please note that this is the original european release with English Audio/Video and will play on any UK/European DVD Player. Subtitles can be turned on/off. Only the cover has some European writings on it.
