A collection of 211 issues of the publication in very good to excellent condition

Published monthly by the Royal Society of Chemistry, London

The set is close to complete for the years 1986 - 2003, with just a handful of individual issues missing in the years prior to 1992 (see below for details)

[Note, for interest/information: 2003 was the final year of publication of Chemistry in Britain. From 2004 onwards its successor from The Royal Society has been the monthly journal Chemistry World]

A4 Paperbacks, 21 x 29.7 cm,  typically ranging from about 80 to 120 pages per issue, comprising university/professional-level chemical articles plus news, reviews, comment, etc. 

Some of the older issues show minor shelfwear or other marks of handling, but the vast majority of the collection show little evidence of use and remain in excellent near-new or as-new condition.

The full collection amounts to approximately 47 kg, before packaging.

Unless you are feeling VERY rich, I wouldn't suggest you ask me how much it would cost to send the collection of journals outside the UK!

For dispatch within the UK using Royal Mail parcel post, I will need to send the journals in 3 separate boxes.

The total cost for UK postage, packaging and handling of the three large parcels will be £47.

My usual aim is to post books within 24 hours of receiving the cleared payment. In this case, I may need a couple of days extra to get the large and heavy boxes packed and transported down to the Post Office, though I will still aim for the swiftest possible dispatch.

Note: using Royal Mail 20 kg parcels, there could be scope for further savings on postage by combining books from other auctions in the remaining space in one of the boxes - I am happy to wait if you wish to browse for a few weeks before payment, but please let me know if that is what you wish to do
