An excellent quality original and signed DUTCH OIL ON CANVAS OF A WINTRY SCENE, this painting is signed but I cannot decypher the signature, I think it is SCHEFFMANN, SCHOFFMANN I am not sure, but whoever it is has an excellent hand. The colours are wonderful and there is so much depth to the painting, there are a few minor imperfections, the main one is a slight tear in the canvas in the sky of approx half an inch, there are minor touchins in the sky and the canvas requires a slight tightening, all these are minor imperfections and do not detract from the quality of this fine oil painting and can easily be rectified with a little restoration and would not be expensive to have done and well worth doing.I believe this painting is dated around the 1970's, it maybe earlier but I am not sure.
