The supplied module needs to be attached to the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor that is connected to the ECU. The ECU responds by altering the ignition timing and the result is a boost in performance.

Varying with different cars and specs each module will add between 5-20 bhp occasionally slightly more.
