JERSEY 2008 red Poppy £5.00 crown sized coin struck to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the end of the Great War, 1918 to 2008. The reverse design depicts a large red coloured poppy and the black lettering, "XI Hour, XI Day, XI Month" with the metal centre reading "Lest We Forget, 1918". The obverse shows the mature portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and is 38.6mm in diameter.

The coin is in nice BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition and supplied in the protection capsule of issue.

This is a fantastic coin that would make a great gift for a coin collector or keepsake for those whose ancestors served in WWI.
