2007 ELIZABETH II  50P FIFTY PENCE COIN

PRESENTED CASED

This is the new commemorative UK 50p coin for 2007 issued by the British Mint.  This coin commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Founding of the Scouting Movement in 1907 by Lord Robert Baden-Powell.   The obverse design on the Queen's head is by Ian Rank-Broadley. The reverse design shows the fleur-de-lys of the Scouts with their motto 'Be Prepared' and is designed by Kerry Jones.
