2007 Hyosung 125GT for sale. No reserve I’ve owned bike for more than a year from New. I’ve done around 2500 miles on the clock – see odometer which is in km btw. Still on 2 years warranty with all documents and service book. The season is open so grab yourself a great bike!!!
Genuine reason for selling – It’s been a great fun but now since I’ve passed my test and moved onto Ducati (hey!!:))) this one must go.
This is the best 125 I’ve ever ridden – it looks like a proper 600 big bike - Until you close enough to read the text on the tail you cannot tell it’s 125cc. It’s a no surprise since it shares the frame with Suzuki GS 500 but looks far better - proper Suzuki Bandit style. The size gives you more respect on the road and plenty of questions on red lights from other road users – asking “is this really a 125?”. It’s very comfortable – especially if you taller driver – I’m 180cm but of course it will suit smaller rider as well.
The sound is superb - Since it’s a 4 stroke - nothing like these annoying scream of a ¾ size Moto GP replicas – add the aftermarket exhaust and it will be even better. It has a proper wide tires with plenty of meat on and together with great suspension she handles simply fantastic.
The running costs are really cheap – insurance, road tax of £15 (it needs one) and petrol - it has 17 litres tank and will go forever. I used to fill her up with the best petrol available to keep the performance at the top end and the engine clean – trust me you can afford it since it uses so little fuel – I really miss it on my current bike!!!
About the Bike – She’d never let me down and always starts from the first time every time. I’ve been maintaining her to the best I can and always protected her from London’s weather. So much the good points – I’m sure you can find plenty of satisfied riders if you look on Google. I used her for everyday commuting on the short distance so there are few tiny scratches on the tank (never buy the gloves with titanium knuckles) but nothing which will bother you too much. The left side of the head light has been scratched and so is left side panel on the tail (not very visible and only pissed me off when I saw my bike knocked over on the car park by a moving off driver – (a….hole!) - I was shattered at first by the “damage” but after a while realized that actually it never gets into attention - I tried to cover everything on pictures but fell free to ask. One more thing – the bike has Oxford heated grips fit on – but for some reason they stopped working – my guess is this would be a switch which I’ve heard of is a common fault and which you can replace – since the cold is over I didn’t investigate further.
Service history - I’ve recently change brake pads and since she was only few hundred miles from 2nd service – I’ve done this as well – It will save you few hundred quid and give you another 4000 miles to go – although the brake pads needs to be checked more often – depends on your riding style.
I’m willing to give her away for £1299 starting bid which is a grand off from the price of a new plus 1st and 2nd service done. For a just an over a year old bike with 2500 miles it seems like a fair price. £300 at the end of auction to secure the bike - the rest on collection. Please bear in mind if paying by PayPal – 5% will be added to a final price to cover the costs. You can pay on collection as well – no charge here.
The bike is available to check in east London after 6pm and if you have any questions please call Michael on 0772 972 6116
