This Car was subject to an Insurance Claim.
And is registered on HPI as CAT C. We have bought the car direct from an
Insurance Broker. The car was described as
Flood Damage from the
Insurer. No other information
will be given to us from the insurer.
Yet when we got it, it started and drove and
had no faults. I have not done any work on the car apart from wash it.
In many cases like this the policy holder may
have simply rejected the car if it has had water in the car and or been
repaired by the insurer.
The car starts and drives as normal and all
the electrics work okay. There are no warning lights on the dashboard. I
have driven the car for about 4 months.
I have set the reserve at a very sensible
level and well below what the car costs me. But also have advertised the car elsewhere and reserve the right to
remove the auction at any time.
If you want to make a sensible offer please
feel free. BUT I WILL BE ONLY TAKING
BIDS OVER £15000. The Cheapest Car I have seen with this spec is
£23000 as of 07/05/08 in the
Auto trader.
Body
work is as you would expect for this year and
mileage. There are minimal amount of marks around
the vehicle nothing really to mention with no signs
of accident damage.
Any
inspection welcome. Proof of fully comprehensive
insurance is required for test drives.
