I am selling my Honda CBR-1000 RR-6 Fireblade. I have owned it from new and it has been lovingly looked after and cared for by myself. It has never seen any trackday or race action and in fact never ever been red-lined. I am a very over-cautious rider and perhaps a jessie and so i feel the bike has been wasted on me!! I have ridden it down to France and back about a year ago and ridden several times since. It is kept under a cover in my garage and started regulary.
It is being sold as we have a new baby and i find i ride my BMW Tractor GS most of the time, i have indeed lost my bottle! The bike is in 'as new' condition and any close inspection will confirm it is in mint condition. Nevertheless, on the seat cowl are 3 small abrasions from being kept in a box whilst the pilion seat was fitted and also some small marks on the wheel fairing. These small imperfections on the bodywork are detailed in the pictures.
I purchased the bike from new in September 2006 from Dobles of Coulsden and it has been serviced at Chambers Honda in Maidstone. All finance has been settled on the motorcycle. It has a TRACKER fitted which is under subscription and the Honda DATATOOL security alarm and immobiliser. All service history and tracker/alarm documentation is enclosed.
It has done approximately 4000miles and never been dropped, crashed or scratched. It has a ACKROPOVIC underseat CARBON exhaust which makes quite a sweet sound once the baffle has been removed. I will include the Honda Fireblade close-hugging cover for the bike too.
The paintwork is a custom-painted from Dobles when it was bought and i have the original documentation to support this to demonstrated it has not been re-painted at any point. I originally wanted the UrbanTiger orange/black/silver that the 600RR came in and Dobles obliged with this. It looks awesome and is one of a kind - i have never seen a blade in this scheme.
I dare say there are a few bits i have missed off and i may add later in the auction. I do reserve the right to end the auction early. The winning buyer would be preferred to contact me within 3 days of winning the auction and negative feedback issued to time-wasters. Feel free to have the bike inspected on collection please, any 'test rides' will be gratefully agreed on receipt of the auction winning funds as is sensible.
