Say hello to Betty. She's given me over a year of scootering joy. I am selling her for 2 reasons: 1. I fell off her and am too scared to get back on and 2. I am going away this summer and she will get lonely without a loving owner. Betty runs perfectly, she starts perfectly every time, and is a wonder to drive. As you can see from the photo there are some minor scratches on one side of her. In addition to that Betty needs an MOT and full service. She needs a new speedo cable, and her fuel gauge needs fixing. I have deducted around £200 from the average price of a scooter of this quality for the new owner to cover these repairs. The mileage reads around 14,000km but as the speedo cable broke it is probably more like 20,000km - honesty is the best policy! Betty is taxed until 31/03/09. Included with price - chain lock, used jacket (if you want it), brand new waterproof set (if you want it). If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I'd prefer to be paid by Banker's draft because I've been hacked on PayPal before! I can deliver the bike within reason because I'm nice like that.
