Jon mack Cars
Based in west yorkshire at the centre of England we have chosen to use eBay as our only sales channel and as such are building a business on three principles:
1) Good value vehicles
We don’t promise to have “the very best of the best” every time because not everyone wants or indeed can afford this type of vehicle. Our clients benefit from well described and “honest” cars that suit a range of budgets and expectations.
2) High turnover of cars at low margin
Because we don’t have a retail premises and use eBay as our sole sales channel, we can run a very efficient operation. We set realistic reserves, often at a level that just covers cost so you can benefit from lower than expected prices.
3) Open and honest dealing
eBay actually works in favour of you, the buyer, more than the seller. Trapped in a traditional showroom, mesmerised by all that shiny metal, all manner of untruths are spoken…. and believed! With eBay you can take your time, study the photos and most importantly check the feedback of the seller.
Our business will succeed on this factor more than any other. This may be your first, large, eBay transaction. I would urge you to read the description fully, look at the photographs and then, most importantly look at our feedback.
We strive to describe cars as accurately as possible and there is no advantage in miss describing a car. If fact, we are so confident in our descriptions that if, when collecting the vehicle, you find it is miss-described then you are more than welcome to walk away and the sale needn’t proceed. This has not happened to date.

IRISH bidders
We welcome IRISH bidders and have sold several vehicles to people from NORTHERN IRELAND and REPUBLIC OF IRELAND. ALL Winning bidders must adhere to our terms. For delivery to Ireland deposit funds are required in advance. Cash must be in sterling or Euros. A transaction in Euros will have the UK HSBC exchange rate, and cost of change fee applied.
Description & Warranty
The above description is a general idea of condition. It is not exhaustive as a car is a very complex mechanical item and it would be impossible to inspect every item. In addition to this, one person’s idea of condition is very different to the next persons. Please let common sense prevail. Any obvious faults that may be apparent with the vehicle I have mentioned within the description, if there are none reported then there are no obvious faults at the time of the listing.
Please remember if an item is not listed, please do not make presumptions regarding condition/specification, get hold of us and ask.
You can obviously test drive the car before buying or leaving with the car to confirm that it drives as we say it does. If it doesn’t…then you walk away.
eBay transactions do not carry a warranty. You can obtain car warranties via a number of providers
New bidders (or scammers)
New bidders [ below 5 feedback] contact me to assure me that you are seriously interested Or YOUR BID WILL BE REMOVED Scammers – You bid will be removed, don’t waste your time or mine.

Terms
We strive to describe cars as accurately as possible, our future success depends upon the accuracy of these descriptions and there is no advantage in miss describing a car. Our customers walk away and we loose a sale.
POSITIVE feedback is what we strive for, EVERY TIME.
We are so confident in our descriptions that if, when collecting the vehicle, you find it is miss-described then you are more than welcome to walk away and the sale needn’t proceed. This has not happened to date.
After the auction the full balance must be paid and the car collected within 5 days of the end of the sale. Failure to pay for the car within this period will result in a loss of the car and it being re-offered to the 3 next highest bidders or re-listed.
At the time of collection the balance must be paid in full, using cash, inter bank or banker’s draft. I will need to verify the bankers draft by calling the issuer to check authenticity. are also acceptable but need to have cleared before you are able to collect.
The bid you submit is final, after all this is an auction, not an opportunity to begin negotiation upon collection which I will not entertain under any circumstances.
by bidding you have accepted these terms
These cars are sold on a trade auction basis

eBay tips
Ebay have introduced some new guidelines which have inadvertently blocked genuine bidders from bidding in the last few minutes. Even if you are a registered bidder with genuine feedback you may be blocked from entering a final bid price in the dying seconds as you not registered a 'seller accounts'. This only seems to happen on high value bids.
Please return to your 'My eBay' homepage and then halfway down the left-hand column you need to click on 'Start Selling' and follow the instructions and register a seller's account.
Many unsuccessful bidders loose out because they leave it until the dying seconds on the auction only to find they can’t enter their bid fast enough. Remember that the system bids up for you in small increments. Don’t miss out
Finally, if you do miss out and receive an email “claiming” to be from eBay or me offering you the car after the auction ends, BE CAREFULL. Please email me to verify the offer and it’s authenticity . Never transfer money into anyone account unless you know the transaction is genuine.

Thanks for taking the time to read the listing.
Good luck with your bidding!
