As with all things theres a story for this bike so if your sitting comfortably i will begin.
Sports bikes I love them always have always will, numerous suzukis twins fours, ducatis, yamahas etc, rode a ZRX1100 with mx bars short exhaust really liked it but too heavy and wouldnt turn, i ride a gixer thou k5 for trackdays and basically a plan was hatched, i wanted power (and actually more power) wide bars, sweet handling, tastefully loud exhaust, sticky tyres and the ability to stop quick, then came cosmetics and trick bits. so here we are.may 12th 2007 bought a cosmetic damage limited edition GSXR 1000 ZK4, not written off or recorded 2 owners from new and if your interested so far we are at the interestin bit now, one year later it was Mot'd and from the front to the back here goes.
new suzuki genuine discs, powder coated wheel, new wheel bearings, new ebc race pads (4 per caliper) new hel braided brake lines, front forks by K-Tech 20mm cartridges built for 15 stone rider including leathers. Ohlins steering damper (just in case it shakes its head :-) Renthal Bar risers, Windham pro taper contour fat bars, Spiegler carbon mirrors horrendously expensive but look so sexy (you can tell if there is a car behind not what type) Ignition relocated under seat (see picture, it just works better there), 19/20 ratio Brembo master cylinder, Brembo stubby two finger lever, EZraptor two finger clutch actuator (these really work even though you have to get them from the states they are awesome on cable clutch suzukis), custom made throttle cables (rather than stretch the standard ones and obviously a custom venhill clutch cable). Performance parts ram air tubes modified to raise standard fairing by 2.5 inches and MRA double bubble iridium screen. flush fit smoked front indicators yes they flash at the right speed. BMC race air filter, power commander 3, mapped and dyno'd by BSD p'boro map in pictures. Vortex generator engine case, GB Moto rear Sets, Renthal race sprockets one tooth off front and one tooth on rear, 520 lightweight race chain, V4 speedo healer to adjust gearing change (has top speed recorder as well but recall button hidden coz it would be silly to let just anybody see how fast you have been) . K5 rear shock built by Ktech with bike torque Racing adjustable height mount, Akropovic stubby carbon exhaust and link pipe E marked and passes mot's without baffles sounds so sweet too. Powder coated rear wheel, new wheel bearings, hel braided rear hose, pressure brake light switch, led rear light cluster incorporatin indicators again an mot pass. 400 miles old pirelli corsa 3's. The bike owes me 5k but its goin a whole hell of a lot cheaper, check out the pictures. Add elsewhere so can withdraw if neccesary and cancel bids. I just wanna sell it (not give it away). looks sounds goes sweet and isnt mutton dressed as lamb. pls ask questions if you have any.
