I have relisted my car and reduced the reserve due to the fact I have recently found out that there is an error with the mileage reported when vehicle check is done on the car.  A vehicle check on the car showed that in October 2007 there was a report of 171,000 miles on the clock.  This report was from the DVLA.  I contacted DVLA and established that the information was taken from a V62 application.  It is the feeling of myvehiclecheck.co.uk that the reading should have read 17,100 miles and that an extra 0 was added in human error!!!!.  DVLA have confirmed that in July 2006 the car had 6000 miles registered on the clock.  If the October 07 information is correct that would mean that the car did 165,000 miles in just over a year.....and given that it is a small 1.3 mitstibushi colt, this is highly unlikely!!!!!.I have had the car for 2 years and in that time I haven't had any problems with it.  The car will come complete with 12 months MOT and taxed until December 09.  It has got a couple of minor bumps (see photo's) but other than that it is a very good car.  With 3 previous lady owners the only reason I am selling it is due to acquiring a company car.
