Here we have my much loved Hyosung Comet in a Metallic Blue finish. I bought this bike with a view to passing my full test which has now been accomplished and have since upgraded to a ZR7-s. Because of my frame (6ft 5" and 14 stone) I needed the biggest 125 available which offered all the style and comfort I was after; this was certainly achieved with the purchase of the Comet.

The bike has an identical layout of instruments to that of bigger bikes so it is easy to make the transition when the time comes round. The bike offers the rider confidence with a great ability to flick through corners with ease and you certainly get the bigger bike feel with your prescence being felt on the road. Many people mistake the bike to be of a much larger capacity, and its easy to understand why! Suzuki and Hyosung work together in the early production stages of building bikes which is evident for example in the similarities the Comet has with the frame design of the GS500. The V-twin engine provides the full 14.6bhp that learner legal riders are limited to, cruising at a consistent 60mph (even with me on it!) and a top speed of 75mph so you wont be left behind on A-roads. The petrol tank holds a very generous 17 litres which literally lasts forever bearing in mind you get a good 80+mpg, which is something to consider given the ever increasing price of petrol!

There are currently 10 months MOT and Tax remaining on the bike and it has just recently been serviced with a new rear trye, new battery, brake pads replaced and a new chain so is ready to ride away. I used the bike as a commuter and weekend bike so ensured I kept on top of the maintenance of the bike adjusting the chain, tyre pressures and keeping it clean on a regular basis. The bike comes with an Oxford paddock stand so the next user can also maintain the bike themselves. The bike has had an improved enlarged Hyosung headlamp fitted for improved visibility and also comes with a remote Acumen alarm system and an Oxford Revolver lock, which will give those thieves nightmares! All documents are present including the V5 document, owners manual , HPI check forms and service history.
