Please DO NOT BID NOW SOLD ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++SOLD read carefully before bidding. This bike was kindly given to me as a project, it having sat outside in a yard for some months. The bike has been cleaned up and sorted out ( a process which took a very good friend of mine a considerable number of hours), including removing carbs and giving them a full cleanout, petrol tank resin sealed plus all the various other parts as listed below. The bike has 1 years MOT and tax on it. It runs, but now for the bad bit; despite everything we have tried , it will not run properly. Even when warmed up , when the throttle is "blipped" the engine dies, and when on the move it is sometimes necessary to coax the revs up. At times it is almost like a 2 stroke in that it will rev badly until around 5000 rpm when it runs fine. We have tried everything we can think of but have finally conceded defeat, hence this sale. The bike has a reserve price on it to replace the money spent on it, this wont even come close to covering the amount of time spent on it. I would much prefer it to go to a good home where it can be sorted out, but if it doesn't sell I will ( reluctantly) consider breaking her.

The warts:

Tank was sandblasted, undercoated and sprayed but not laquered, so when I spilt some petrol on it it spoiled all the polishing. Likewise the drive sprocket cover. The side panels have been rubbed down , resprayed, rubbed down ready for mopping so are dull. The headlight switch has started to play up on main beam. Mudguard sprayed but not mopped and laquered. The (cheap!) metal plate around the filler cap has snapped. This does not affect the working of the filler cap. Where it's been taken apart so many times various odd screws and bolts will need replacing but not from anywhere crucial

The shiny bits:

Plenty of life in both tyres, wheels sprayed and laquered, new front and rear discs, replacement calipers front and rear, new pads front and rear, new brake and clutch levers,new plugs, new fuel filter, new inlet manifolds, new chain, new rear sprocket, new cush rubbers, new battery, frame and swing arm sprayed, engine sprayed, tank petsealed, braided rear brake hose, new brake switch, new rear bulb.

This is a big solid bike for a 125, plenty of presence for a learner, comes with 2 keys, 11 months tax and MOT on her.
