Yamaha YZF R6 2004

Silver Black with red and white accents

In my opinion one of the best colour schemes yamaha produced for this bike, I have only seen one other on the road!

Not your usual red, blue or yellow!

The bike has currently 10,460 miles (may have a little more if I run the bike locally so its not stood),

of which i have done approx. 9k as I used the bike for commuting.

New Tyres (both) were fitted in January, Michelin Road Pilot 2's, these are the dual compound tyres that are harder in the centre and softer on the outside, providing longevity and grip. I also had the filter and oil done at the same time.

I have used the bike only a couple of times since then so you will not have a problem with the tyres!

The bike was first serviced by the previous owner, then I had it serviced as scheduled, with the next one due at 12k miles. If however anything needed replacing etc it has been done straight away regardless of service times.

I have fitted LED indicators to the rear and clear arrows to the front, as you can see on the pics and yamaha original tank protector.

I have also added a Blue Flame Stainless Steel Exhaust can, this has baffles and is stamped, so is road legal. This really does make the bike sound awesome and looks the dogs danglies :-)

I do have the orignal items too if you would like to fit the orignal parts back on the bike.

The bike is fitted with DATATOOL alarm with 2 remote fobs, I also have all the keys including the red master key.

The overall condition of the bike is very good for the year, the only problems I can see are the stickers on the rear seat have been slightly rubbed by my girlfriend gripping a little too hard with her feet (which I was totally not impressed with!) and a mark on the lower fairing/case which I bought the bike with. These can be seen on the attached pics.

It took my a while to find this bike and I even drove 3 hours to pick it up! People always comment on how they love the colour scheme and the bike, I believe you wont be disappointed with this bike and with the weather just getting warmer its the perfect time to get out there!

As you can probably gather from the above the bike has been my pride and joy and have loved every minute of having it!

I'm only selling due to purchase of another bike, otherwise I would be keeping it and will be very sorry to see it go :-(
