This bike is a private sale - it was my own bike not a
'trade-in' - so, any questions... please ask.
This really is a beautiful,
head-turning learner legal bike. Ideal for the summer months ahead.
Sachs bikes are made in Germany,
but they use Suzuki engines. Therefore - you get the good, solid build quality
of a German bike, but with the reliability of a Japanese 4 stroke engine.
Sachs also make many parts that
are used on Ducati's - hence, the Ducati 'looks' of the XTC.
This is about the biggest 125cc
sports bike you can get. Compared with the Honda CBR125, the Sachs is a monster!
I have been alongside the CBR's at traffic lights a number of times and there's
absolutely no comparison. No one can believe this is only a 125cc when they first see it.
It's not only it's size - it's the decent fat tyres, large brake discs and the
deep sound from the Ducati styled underseat exhaust that
make it a true learner riders' dream!
This bike has been well looked after
and not trashed around by young school kids. The owner before me was in his mid
30's and I'm 25. The only reason for selling is that I have passed my direct
access and moved onto a 600cc bike.
The bike was serviced by a Sachs
main dealer late last year and had the rear wheel bearings replaced. It will be put
through it's MOT before it is sold and will have 12 months tax starting from the
beginning of June.
The only points worth mentioning
are a small crack on the clear screen. It has been repaired, but looks like a
small hairline by the left wing mirror. The previous owner told me one of his
kids had caught the wing mirror with a ball. There is also a small split which
has been repaired on the seat fairing, where it meets the fuel tank. Neither of
these points really show in the photographs (unless you look VERY closely) and
it is the same in the flesh. I am just being honest as I want the winning bidder
to be as happy with the bike as I was.
As you can see from the
photographs, it is in VERY good condition. But - keep in mind it is a
2003 bike that has been used, so it is no longer in 'showroom' condition.
Added little extras are small,
clear carbon look indicators both front and rear. (Much nicer than the big,
bulky original ones - but just as bright!)
Any questions -
feel free to ask and I will try and answer as quickly as possible.
I have included a short video
below so you can see/hear the sound from this bike yourself. It certainly isn't
like the usual 125cc hairdryers. Also, being a 4 stroke - it is MUCH more
reliable than the 2 strokes, ie - Aprilia RS 125 or Cagiva Mito.
(Click the play button to watch the video below)
The bike will come with a FULL
12 months MOT and 12 months Road Tax

I meant to say
- the bike is also fitted with a Taurus Model T3000 Immobiliser.
It also comes with all
paperwork including handbook, logbook, and service book, as well as a full
printed out copy of the original service manual. (Better than trailing through a
CD manual).

Below is a comparison copied from Bikez.com - comparing the Sachs 125 against
the Honda CBR 125 and other bikes in it's class. As you can see, it comes out on
top in more or less every aspect.
