This is my own car. It is taxed and MOT'd until March 2009. It has the 1.8 turbo engine, which compares very favourably with the 2.5 V6 engine in performance terms, but has much better fuel economy (35-38 mpg). The new cost of the car was close to £20000 in 2003! It has the Club SE specification, which includes climate control, 16" alloy wheels, all round electric windows and front foglights.

I bought this car last July, when it required a new head gasket. On inspection, I decided to replace the complete engine and found a certified 27000 mile example from a 2004 MG ZT-T. This was professionally installed by my local garage, together with a new clutch assembly and cambelt.  the cost of all this was £1400. I have travelled 2400 miles since. Overall mileage of the car is just under 69000.

There are five service stamps in the Rover service book at 14660, 27365, 40100, 54800 and 66766 miles. The first MOT was carried out June 1st 2006 when the mileage was 57892.

Overall the car is in very good condition both inside and out. The metallic paintwork is shiny and bright with only slight marks, which you might expect to find on a five year old vehicle.  I will mention that the plastic cover for the towing eye is missing from the front bumper. The dark grey cloth interior is clean and tidy and has new Rover floor mats.  All four tyres have 85%+ tread and the spare wheel is a matching 16" alloy rather than the usual space saver. A Kenwood Radio/CD is fitted.

The car is HPI clear and the RAC report shows no discrepancies.  I have both alarm keys. All in all a very nice family car, which is quick, but economical, is a pleasure to drive and great value. I think that this is a terrific car and am only selling as I have just bought a 2005 MG Estate.
