TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Our terms are very straightforward & very fair on both parties and are as follows. Make very sure you read them, and TOTALLY agree to be bound by them. We are NOT the Marks and Spencer’s of car retail, we are more like Aldi, the prices we sell at usually reflect this, and we hate to break this to you folks, but you don’t get something for nothing.  Our premises aren’t pretty, and we won’t hold your hand, you won’t be greeted by smarmy sales people, moreover 3 persons rushed off their feet, and total chaos!  This does not & will not preclude us from being courteous!

1)   Firstly and foremost, any winning bidder is under no obligation to purchase any car from us, if, having seen it, you feel it is not as described. We will not question or challenge your decision not to proceed, even if you don’t like the colour of it!  We endeavour to list as accurately as we can, and NEVER KNOWINGLY abuse your trust, but you must accept we are human and can make errors or omissions, and therefore will not hold anyone to a purchase, AS LONG AS THEY HAVE SEEN IT, Similarly you will have no right to complain to us that you may have travelled x number of miles and wasted a day.  This was your decision to bid and come down having been totally aware of our terms.  It’s fair and simple, the process is a 2 way street!  IF YOU ARE COMING A LONG WAY, WE WILL BE VERY PLEASED TO DO A WALK AND TALK ON THE CAR FOR YOU BEFORE YOU COME DOWN. 

2)   Buyers must appreciate we are dealing with a massive volume, and therefore have very limited time to test vehicles ect.  Any bidder winning or otherwise is VERY WELCOME to come down and test thoroughly in whatever way they see fit, for however long they see fit in the day, and they will be left totally alone to do so. Mechanics are welcome in the process.  If anyone is not happy with a vehicle having inspected, then of course they are under no obligation to buy.  Should they purchase, we will not entertain any after sales issues, all our cars are sold as seen. We do stipulate if you want an AA or RAC inspection, these must be done before bidding, NOT afterwards.

3)   All our cars are sold as seen, we can arrange warranties via warrantyworks.co.uk should you wish for one, but this is effectively a third party involvement and nothing to do with us, and does not change,  effect or alter our terms.

4)   Upon winning an auction, we will AUTO email you our telephone contact numbers, with our office opening times TO YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS YOU HAVE REGISTERED WITH EBAY.  You must call us by telephone within 24 hours of winning an auction, just to confirm your purchase etc, otherwise we reserve the right to offer the car elsewhere, and if we still have had no contact from you within 3 days, we reserve the right to apply to EBay for a non paying bidder strike against your account.

5)   Our business hours are 9.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday and 9 till 12 Saturday, closed on Sunday. PLEASE NOTE COLLECTION OF ANY ITEM IS FROM OUR READING PREMISES JUST OFF JUNCTION 12 OF THE M4, and is strictly by appointment only.

6) WE CAN TAKE CASH, CARD PAYMENT (there is a 1.7% charge on credit cards, no charge on debit cards), BANK DRAFT ETC.  ALL PURCHASES MUST BE PAID FOR IN FULL WITHIN 7 DAYS, UNLESS BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT.

THIS IS ACTUALLY A VERY NICE LOOKING CAR, MASSIVE SPEC WITH 7 SEATS, BIG PANORAMIC GLASS ROOF ECT. AND ALL THE SE EXTRAS!!  DO NOT BID ON THIS ONE UNTIL WE HAVE CHECKED IT OVER MECHANICALLY AND UPDATED THE DESCRIPTION AS WE SUSPECT A HEADGASKET ISSUE WITH THIS ONE ALTHOUGH IT DOES START AND RUN, I RECALL NOT BEEING 100% HAPPY WITH THE SMELL OF THE EXHUAST FUMES, SMELT A BIT "ANTIFREEZY" TO ME AND WAS RUNNING NOT QUITE SMOOTH FROM MEMORY, SO JUST HOLD ON UNTIL WE HAVE HAD A CHANCE TO CHECK IT OUT! ONLY ONE FORMER RECORDED KEEPER AND INDEED A VERY CLEAN AND LEVEL CAR!
