Peugeot 106 Independance 1.1 with 40000 miles on it, 6 months mot, and 3 months tax.
Thats the basic stuff. What makes this car unique is the modifications I have done throughout the few years I have owned it.
Exterior:
Fibreglass front bumper flushed colour coded with lower lip and fog lights (for show but are legal and can be wired to work)
Genuine Peugeot arches fully flushed into body work
GTi rear bumper made to fit non-wide 106 colour coded
Black bonnet
Has been debadged, delocked, and colour coded, finished by top professionals. Not cheap but looks amazing! Doors work on poppers under wing mirrors.
The car has been painted with copa-potina finish. Basically this is the new flip paint. Not seen any other cars on the road with this. In different lights (walk round the car) it changes the top colour. Basically you can see the blue/black paint but with a top colour changing from green, to red, to brown, and gold. Truley amazing proffessionally done paintwork. Not cheap cost £1000s on its own. The bonnet was so good the company who did it has disaplyed it on their website, www.united-colours.co.uk. Pictures don't do it justice at all, a real head turner. Girls love it, boys are jealous of it!
Other exterior mods include angel eye headlights, lexus lights at rear. M3 wing mirrors colour coded. Meshed in places that need it, front bumper etc and windscreen visor with 'pug' written on it with peugeot logo either side.
Performance mods:
I don't touch the engines on my cars, mainly because insurance companies hate young people and love it when you make a claim they find you didn't declare mods so they void payout. It happens. Also touch engines and they start to go wrong.
The only 'performance' mod to my car is a big exhaust makes the car sound great, loud, but not stupid.
Interior:
Not alot I've done to be honest. The main mod is the sound system. Spent well over £2000 on it. Made someone throw up in the back from the bass. Honest! I've not seen or heard a louder system.
Its got a £300 kenwood flip out headunit with a 6gb Sony HD player attached (£200) - this allows you to have thousands of songs on it and means you'll never need to change cds.
Its got Kenwood door speakers (£200) they pump out about 200w RMS - those who know sound systems know that a lot for non-bass speakers. They are powered by a bose amp in the boot (£200), just right watts to keep it loud without risk of damaging them. I don't believe in parcel shelf speakers. Save your money put better speakers in the front because at the end of the day you'll only be in the front of your car?
The subs are 2x12" british made inphase with high power amp (£1100 for both) putting out about 2000w RMS. They are powered by a exima power battery in the boot (£300). Its all wired professionally with high quality leads (£200).
The sound system is amazing and must be heard. However, I'm not selling the system with the car. I will offer it to the wining bidder and if you want it it will cost you an extra £750. If you don't read this and turn up to collect the car and don't pay for it, you will be driving the car home with no sound system. I already have a buyer for the sound system but will accept offers for it if the winning bidder doesn't want it.
Alarm:
Has a hornet alarm immobiliser on it. Got a pager like device on keys that tells you if your cars being broken into. And starts remotely, great for winter mornings to warm car! Anti-hijack while driven.
Issues:
Not many really, a small crack in front bumper (speed bumps - the car can do some not big ones tho!) and its come loose from body at one side, not a problem as it stays on but it scratches when driven. Arches could do with touch up (warranty from garage will do it for free).
Legal:
You are bidding to buy, non paying bidders will be dealt with. Visits and inspections welcome please get in contact. Please read all print as I will not accept 'oh i didn't realise that' as an excuse not to go through with sale? Number plate is not included in sale. Finally car is sold as seen, once I have recieved payment it is yours no refunds. I will only accept cash or cheque (and expect to wait if you pay by cheque)
That's all, I've been honest, it's a fantastic car, great to drive, happy bidding!
