This is your chance to get your hands on a lovely Smart car! I've owned this car since September 2005 and it's been a little gem. I've done 30000 miles or so in it and really enjoyed driving it. If you've ever driven one before you'll understand how much fun they are. Parking is a dream, and yes you really can park them end on - always raises a smile from passers by! Economy is brilliant - 50 - 60 mpg depending on how you drive it, and with low insurance and £35 annual road tax it's extremely cheap to run.You might not be aware that although they are small they are very safe, with a host of protection features that you would expect from a car made by Mercedes, such as driver and passenger airbags, crumple zones etc.
This car is in good condition. It has a few minor scratches and blemishes as you would expect from a 5 year old car. In particular the wheels could do with a coat of paint as you can see from the photo (or of course you could always put some flashy alloys on it...). The passenger seat has some very minor marks on it. I tried to photograph these but they are so minor they wouldn't show up on a photo. On the plus side, it has 4 nearly new tyres and has just (last week) had a major service including replacement of the brake discs and a new MOT. All services have been carried out by Mercedes Benz - when they returned it to me last week they commented on what a lovely little car it is!
So, how do you get to buy this fantastic car? Well firstly, if you bid, you are bidding to buy. I have been totally honest and I feel I have described this car fairly so anyone trying to haggle after winning without seeing the car will be given negative feedback. I'm very friendly - give me a ring on 07974 968393 and arrange to pop along and see it. The car will only be released on clearance of funds - obviously Paypal or cash is preferable, or a cleared cheque. I can also take credit cards (I'm not a trader, I just have a business Paypal account).
