This car has a number of things wrong with it.  Below are the details from Bexhill Auto Centre which explains all the faults it currently has. 

Carried out scan diagnosis for loss of power - engine coolant temperature level exceeded.  Refilled coolant to level and carried out pressure tests, pressure drop of 2.5 bar over 20 minutes.  Carried out full visual inspection of colling and heating system.  Found underbody pipes to rear cabin heater badly corroded and leaking.  Requires new underbody heater pipes front to rear.  Engine running unevenly and coolant in oil.  Suspect internal heat damage to cylinder head and / or cylinder block due to engine being excessively overheated - this would account for power loss / fade when vehicle being driven.  Advised customer that possible heavy expense up to engine replacment could result.  Investigation halted at customer request.  Ensured all levels ok for vehicle to be driven away. 

The car currently has several dents two of which are fairly significant and would need attention.  It has a very high mileage for a car of it's age as it was a company car and travelled the length and breadth of the country several times a year!  The inside seats are removable.  The handle on the passenger front door is missing.  Tax expires at the end of this month.
